Water. The source of life for all things living on this planet we share with all man kind. We drink it. We cook with it. We bathe in it. It is every thing to all of us. Every moment every day.
When you think about it, in it's entirety. Water is every-thing.
"Water Wise" For The Kidz. Hopefully a program the brothers and I are interested in starting and following it through to a point where children of low income families all across America can have there well water tested for the basics and for the in depth problems that are responsible for a multitude of heath related issues.
Our program is going to be able to seek out those families who have on sight private well water systems. Families who fall into the low income guide lines that we will establish. Those families will be able to use our experience and knowledge.
The process of qualifying for the free water testing services would first take place. We would then send to those who need the testing a sampling package that would enable those parents to take a proper water sample of their well water. The water then would be properly tested by a certified EPA lavatory that currently has there ability and reputation to do this type of in-depth testing.
The testing laboratory would then send a copy of those results to us and to the home owner. We would evaluate those test results and recommend a long term method in greatly reducing those contaminant levels to a safe standard. Or to eliminate the problem(s).
The recommendations would include the advisement of a water purification / filtering / conditioning / treatment / system. Which ever method best applies. The cost for the system and the installation price would be offered a reduced price or at no cost. Again depending upon the abilities for those families to pay. We are actually hoping that most testing and systems would be available at no costs to those in need.
We realize it is enormous commitments by us. I realize the task at hand would require large amounts of funding. Prob ally hiring many new people and training them. New Chiles to go into the Field and do this work. A better and larger web sight. Sub contractors would be used to reach those families that are currently out of or reach. Yes it is a dream I have. But one I feel that is going to benefit the children, their development into adults. the long term benefits of this project would by far out weight the the time and investment required.
Do You Think You Could Be A Part of Making Such A Substantial Commitment. Healthier, Smarter, Children Today Would Benefit The Future For All Of Us. Under standing the "Big Picture" is the first step in this dream I have. Following through the process and developing the program would be possible.
